NamLingo ("we", "us", "our") helps English speakers learn Thai. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. NamLingo is a service operated by NamLingo Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17352540, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide: your name and email address.
- Authentication data: the credentials used to sign in to and secure your account.
- Learning data: your lesson progress, saved to your account so you can continue where you left off.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers or billing addresses — those are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe (see below).
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the service (create and secure your account, deliver lessons, and remember your progress), to process your subscription, and to keep the service safe and working. Our legal basis for this processing is the performance of our contract with you.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only essential cookies and similar browser storage: to keep you signed in, and — during checkout — for payment fraud prevention by Stripe. We do not use advertising or tracking technologies, so no cookie consent banner is required.
Signing in with Google, Apple, or Facebook
You can create an account or sign in using Google, Apple, or Facebook. When you do, we receive basic profile information from that provider — typically your name, email address, and a unique account identifier — which we use only to create and authenticate your account. Apple's "Hide My Email" option may give us a private relay address instead of your real email.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We share personal data only with the service providers that operate NamLingo on our behalf:

Where your data is processed
Our application and database are hosted in the United Kingdom (London). Some providers (such as Stripe and Google) may process limited data outside the UK; where they do, they provide appropriate safeguards.
Children
NamLingo is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, please contact us.
